Connected Beginnings
Connected Beginnings
Connected Beginnings draws upon the strength and knowledge of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities. The aim is to increase Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children’s and families’ engagement with health and early childhood education and care (ECEC).
It improves access to existing early childhood, maternal and child health, and family support services so children are safe, healthy and ready to thrive at school by the age of five.
Funding supports the integration of local services to ensure children and families can access culturally appropriate and responsive support, including:
Maternal and Child Health Services
Early Childhood and Care (ECEC)
Family Support Services
Preschools and Schools
Local Government and Council Services
